Stereotactic’s journey began in 2001 with a teenage obsession for sample-based music, turntablism, and a pair of Technics 1200s. Nearly a decade of scratch DJing evolved into a deep dive into party and bass music as he embedded himself in Vancouver’s west coast underground scene, sharing stages with now-legends like The Funk Hunters. Drawing from a broad palette of influences—from DJ Shadow and Amon Tobin to G Jones and Louis the Child—Stereotactic blends hip hop roots, rich bass textures, and genre-defying rhythms into every set. His performances are finely tuned to pull listeners into the moment, making hearts pound and bodies move—Summer Semester is about to get a serious dose of this high-frequency energy.
Dauri Cems
Dauri Cems invites dancers on a multi-dimensional journey through global soundscapes, blending rhythm, ritual, and raw emotion into every set. With deep roots in Latin American music and a background as a drummer, percussionist, healer, and meditation facilitator, their performances transcend the dancefloor—offering a space to connect, celebrate, and transform. Originally from Mexico City and now based in Collingwood, Paz has spent the last 15 years creating inclusive cultural and spiritual experiences across Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. With nearly two decades behind the decks and appearances at festivals like Solstice, Future Forest, and Sonic Springs, Dauri Cems brings a rich, soulful energy to Summer Semester that promises to move both body and spirit.
Marchello & Nokturnal
Closing out Summer Semester with unmatched energy and deep-rooted chemistry, Marchello and Nokturnal return for a special back-to-back set, reigniting the magic of their unforgettable finale at Moonlit’s inaugural Spring Awakens. Marchello’s journey traces back to the vinyl-laden sounds of Scarborough’s 1980s scene—through reggae sound systems, Toronto’s underground, and a lifetime of curating soulful, genre-spanning sets. Nokturnal, a staple of the late ’90s Toronto rave scene and Collingwood’s original OG DJ, has been spinning since the late ’80s and has played stages across North America—from Victoria to St. John’s, Winnipeg to El Paso. Together, they bring a powerful blend of history, passion, and deep dancefloor wisdom—guaranteed to close the night in pure Moonlit style.
